Information For Authors
Authors need to register with the journal prior to submitting or, if already registered, can simply log in and begin the five-step process.
Author Responsibilities
JAR will be made available throughout the world via on-line publication. With this, authors must ensure that their work meets the requirements as covering originality, authorship, author responsibilities.
Author/Employer Rights and Ownership
Author(s) who write for an employer should note that the copyright in the work belongs to his/her employer as the one who commissioned his/her work. Commissioned researches or researches funded by other people/agencies other than the author may have similar ownership issue. There is therefore a need to review the contract between the author and his/her employer/funder to avoid ownership issues. In case submitted articles for the JAR, it is assumed that when the author signed the copyright form, he/she/they is/are authorized to do so by your employer/funder and that consent to transfer the copyright, and other terms and conditions listed in the forms. If such consent and authorization has not been given to the author, an authorized representative of his/her employer/funder should sign the forms as the Author.
JAR Copyright Ownership
In order to protect the interest of JAR, its authors and their employers/funders shall own the copyrights of all copyrightable material including the individual contributions contained therein to facilitate the appropriate re-use of the said material by others.
To enable the Publisher to protect the copyright of the journal, authors must sign copyright form (click here to download copyright transfer form) with their manuscripts to the Journal. All submitted manuscripts must be accompanied by a copyright form signed by all authors that the article is original, is not under consideration by another journal, has not previously been published elsewhere and its content has not been anticipated by any previous publication.
Types of Submissions Accepted
There are four themes per year published simultaneously in the four issues of the journal. All articles, submitted must belong to any of the following themes/issues.

Criteria for acceptance
In accepting work for publication, the editors and reviewers give special weight to readability and interest value for a wide readership. All papers are reviewed by at least two expert referees as well as an editor. The Editors' decision is final.
Criteria for withdrawal
JAR management has to respect the reviewers time. So, authors are advised to make decision of withdrawal within 5 days of submission for any reason. JAR management will mark as rejected paper if you withdraw after 5 days because review process begins within 5 days. Once paper is updated to status page it will not be removed even the paper is withdrawn after 5 days.
Electronic Submission
All papers must be submitted through this Online Journal System (OJS). In case you encounter difficulty in registering, please email us at jar@ssu.edu.ph to call our attention to assist you in the registration process.
Format
All submissions must conform to the format of JAR. It is recommended to use the one-column format (JAR Template). Submissions that do not follow the recommended format and mechanics will be returned outright.
Time table of review process
Any communication sent to authors should get response not later than 10 days otherwise submitted manuscript will be move to reject to publication status due to no communication from author. The Editors' decision is final. All papers should be submitted in Journal format as Windows word document. PDF format will not be accepted.
The length of review process depends on the reviewers. The shortest review process for almost perfect journal paper is 1 month (4 weeks). Other paper may reach for 1 year but in no case will it be more than 1.5 years.
